The Bears ranked second in the NFL with 109 first-quarter points in 2008, trailing only the Atlanta Falcons (114).
Of those 109 points, a league-high 51 came on Chicago’s first possession. Five of the Bears’ six touchdowns on their opening drive came through the air, also the most in the NFL.
