The Chicago Bears terminated safety Terrence Holt’s contract and elevated rookie defensive end Ervin Baldwin from the practice squad on Tuesday.
Holt signed with the Bears on Oct. 22 and was inactive for games against Detroit and Tennessee. He started all 16 games for Arizona last year after spending his first four seasons with the Lions.
Baldwin, a seventh-round draft pick out of Michigan State, had 93 tackles and 12 1/2 sacks in two seasons with the Spartans after spending two years at Reedley College in California.

Ervin was really good at Michigan State, he'll bring some pass rush
