Tommie Harris returned to work Monday, and the Bears expect the Pro Bowl defensive tackle to play Sunday at Atlanta.
Tommie Harris has missed the last two games, the first because of his banged-up left knee and the second for a one-game suspension.
''I've heard a lot about the message,'' coach Lovie Smith said.
''No message has been sent from me. The message is the same message for everyone: There are rules, and everyone has to go by the rules. And Tommie or anyone else, it's left up to them. If they want to be a part of the team, you're going to go by these rules. It's as simple as that.
''We're going to go back to work. I assume everyone that's here wants to do that. They know what happens if you don't.''
