Offensive guard Terrence Metcalf has returned to practice with the Chicago Bears after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery in early August.
Metcalf was thought to be in a battle for the starting left guard position, but that did not happen.
He may still have a shot at it, but he will have to perform in practice.
